When Natalie D. Eddington stepped down as dean this spring, it marked the end of a more than 15-year tenure spent in service to academic pharmacy filled with laudable accomplishments.

$500,000 gift will support five initiatives at the School and university.

After a 15-year tenure as dean, Eddington will remain on faculty and lead UMB’s new EMBRACE initiative.

The School received donations from more than 320 faculty, staff, students, alumni, residents, and friends.

The School has met and passed its aim of $22 million in the university-wide Catalyst Campaign.

PharmD student hones his leadership skills in numerous extracurricular activities, keeps his classmates informed and connected, and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

For its engagement efforts during the pandemic and other initiatives designed to enhance health equity in the city, the PATIENTS Program was awarded the University of Maryland, Baltimore Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Diversity Recognition Award for Outstanding Staff.
