Presented by the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, the Marilyn Dix Smith Leadership Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership to the organization.

Day-long learning session and health fair educated members of the local community about ongoing projects in the field of patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR).

New grants and contracts from a multitude of non-profit and government organizations, as well as the private sector, help the School of Pharmacy achieve the highest funding increase among all professional and graduate schools at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Four students from the School’s PHSR PhD Program receive the Arthur Schwartz Memorial Scholarship and Donald O. Fedder Memorial Fellowship in recognition of their superior academic performance.

Delivered with Dr. Robin Newhouse, presentation emphasized listening to patients and caregivers’ voices across all stages of research.

Program staff partnered with Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church to offer screenings and counseling for individuals affected by high blood pressure, diabetes, and HIV.
