Students, Faculty, and Alumni Receive Statewide Excellence in Pharmacy Awards
Maryland Pharmacists Association honored recipients at annual convention.

Six student pharmacists, three faculty, and three alumni from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP) received Maryland Pharmacist Association (MPhA) Excellence in Pharmacy Awards at the 140th MPhA Annual Convention in Cambridge, Md., June 3-5.
Outstanding Student Pharmacists Achievement Award: Lu Chen
MPhA Student Scholarship Award: Delaney McGuirt and Eileen Zheng
MPhA Foundation Student Scholarship Award: Sung Jin (Julie) Jeong, Sean Kim, and Belinda Tamrakar
Mentor Award: Cynthia Boyle, PharmD, FAPhA, FNAP, FASCP, professor emerita of pharmacy practice and science
