UMB Employee of the Month from School of Pharmacy

Lisa Calvert Chalk was selected University of Maryland Baltimore’s Employee of the Month for October.

Lisa Calvert Chalk was selected University of Maryland Baltimore’s Employee of the Month for October.

Lisa has been with the School of Pharmacy for nearly 12 years. She served for almost 8 years as Operations Manager for the Dean’s Office and was recently appointed Operations Manager for the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science (PPS).

University President David J. Ramasy, DM, DPhil, presented the award to Lisa in a surprise meeting on Friday, Nov. 3. She was selected for her leadership in shaping operations and for her enormous contribution to the School, as well as her diligence, professionalism, and can do attitude .

The Employee of the Month award is a campus-wide award presented to only one employee each month.
