NCPA Annual Conference Big Success

The National Community Pharmacists’ Association (NCPA) held its 108th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition October 7 – 11 this year at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The National Community Pharmacists’ Association (NCPA) held its 108th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition October 7 – 11 this year at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The Conference was a huge success, drawing pharmacy owners, managers, and employees of independent pharmacies across the nation, as well as top health care and pharmaceutical companies.

Attendees from the School of Pharmacy included faculty, alumni, and students, who gathered Sunday evening Oct. 8, at the Alumni and Friends reception sponsored by the Development and Alumni Affairs Office, for a sit-down dinner at Canaletto’s Restaurant inside the hotel. McKesson Pharmaceutical helped sponsor the event with a generous $1,000 donation.

The School’s NCPA Student Chapter received won a $1000 raffle prize from Good Neighbor Pharmacy.
